So much pain, hurt and sorrow
Just to reach a little closer
Will it even set you free?
Until your deepest wounds
are felt at the surface of your skin
to the point your body is ready to explode.
Truth is we'll be just beating around the bush.
Not so much due to desire, as much as a need for self protection though...
Why delve so furiously as if the only purpose of it all?
What if the bottom line is far less deeper than expected and,
by flashing through so recklessly,
the core is so completely missed
that the destiny just ends up being the geographical opposite surface,
though as equally barren as the starting point,
of this clueless planet?
