The honey was just left there
constantly dripping the tiniest droplets
to fill up the crevices
for as long as time was set to be.

And life went on.
Each day a little bit less aware
of the tortuous hydrographic pathways
whose screams were being gently muffled
by the oozing amber.

Bacteriostatic properties
provide time freezing opportunities.

Update status:
Currently drowning in crystalized sugar coating.
Nobody bothered to check for the rising fructose levels
or the effects of the weather on crystal formation.

After all, worst case scenario still seems to be
just a copious amount of hard candy.
